Blacksmiths

A Blacksmith is a person who makes objects out of iron and metal. How they did that was they burned the tip of the iron and pounded it with a hammer and made an object. The blacksmith got the name because he pounds on iron and metal to make an object. The Blacksmith was so important because he made tools needed by other tradesmen. They also made shoes for oxen and horses. They made iron pots, nails, and tools. The Blacksmith was a dentist, too. He had only one cure for toothaches; they pulled out the one that hurt!
