Silversmiths

The Silversmith works with metals like gold, silver, brass and copper. He hammers them to made products like spoons, plates, and designs patterns on them. The Silversmith has only a few customers. He also sells jewerly, shoe buckles, and buttons. Some Silversmiths put their initial on the objects they made. There were no banks in colonial time so people gave their coins to the Silversmith to melt down and make plates. The Silversmith got his metals from Mexico and Peru. There were little customers because it was so expensive; only the rich could buy from the Silversmith. The Silversmith got metal in three ways: bullion bars of pure metal from the mines and refineries of Mexico and Peru, and minted coins from various countries. It was important to have an honest Silversmith because they don't cheat you; they give you real silver . That's what Silversmiths do.
